I guess I jinxed us! Bella was re-admitted today because her liver counts continued to rise since Monday. She has to get i.v. steroids, then the biopsy tomorrow morning. After going all morning NPO, there was a miscommunication and she didn't get the biopsy today as scheduled. We were promised that she would be the first one in the O.R. in the a.m., so hopefully she won't have to go too long with an empty belly. Cranky Bella + Hungry Bella = Impossible to be Around Bella.
So here we sit back on 7B. Honestly we shouldn't be here tonight, since they aren't doing a single thing until tomorrow. They couldn't get an i.v. started, so they have to wait until she is sedated tomorrow to do another PICC line or something similarly temporary. So we are just sleeping here because she will lose her spot in line for the O.R. if we go home until tomorrow morning. STUPID!!!
